Rehydration

Concentration of water and dissolved solutes and electrolytes within tissue is finely balanced. The matrix state fluctuates between gel and sol viscosity, depending on water concentration. Solute and waste are transported down the osmotic gradients to and from the cells, and ionic charges create bioelectric tissue properties. The total daily diffusion turnover of water across all the capillaries in the body is 80,000 litres per day and ultrafiltration outward of 20 litres and inwards of 18 litres daily. The difference of about 2 litres is returned to the circulation as lymph. The total of 14 litres is constantly flowing through the matrix. The matrix content diffuses excess side metabolites, toxins and proteins into lymphatic vessels and back to the blood stream. The matrix state and electrolytes movement determines the capacity for healing. The Functional ability of the ground matter and matrix cells depend on hydration levels. Electrolytes supplementation and tissue hydration is a precondition for effective detoxification and bioregulation.
